14 residents from Harewood Park had an exciting excursion to Liverpool, exploring various areas of the city and immersing themselves in its sights and sounds.
They began their exploration at the Cultural Quarter, taking in the magnificent buildings and gardens. Next, they made their way to the vibrant and illuminated district of The Cavern Quarter, passing by the legendary Cavern Club, one of the world's most renowned clubs, to delve into the history of British Pop Music where iconic bands like The Beatles once performed - truly a representation of cool Britannia!
After visiting The Cavern Quarter, they proceeded to the Titanic Museum, where the residents had a great time exploring the history of the Titanic's origins in Liverpool and the tragic events through interactive exhibits.

Guiding them through the museum was ambient music playing in certain sections, along with audio devices available for residents to hear specific stories, sit and watch videos, view posters, and interact with tangible objects like life vests. The residents could also explore smelling stations featuring bread and soap scents, use interactive touch screens, and see exhibits of the captain's uniform and recovered treasure from the shipwreck.
Additionally, there was a model of the Titanic on display, scaled-down of course!
